Position: Assistant Softball Coach
The Assistant Softball Coach will assist the Head Coach in all phases of the Softball program. These phases include, but not limited to recruiting, student-athlete development, eligibility, scheduling, practice development, game preparation, and travel, laundry, purchasing and maintaining the equipment, and keeping the program within its budget.
Position: Food Service Worker
Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking individuals to work in our Food Service Department. Hours 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends. Full and part-time positions are available.
Position: Early Childhood Education Technology Preschool Teacher
Job Description: The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate Child Care program for the children enrolled in Southwest MS Community College Preschool. The Preschool teachershall promote and nurture the education of the children by planning and implementing a program to care for young children. The preschool teacher must ensure the development and safety of these children in accordance with relevant federal legislation, and policies and procedures. The preschool teacher will be respectful of children and parents, and ensure that equipment and facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. Failure to provide adequate services may place children at risk.
Position: Workforce Industrial Training Coordinator
Job Description: Coordinate training programs with local businesses, industries, and workforce; offering start up and upgrade training for the school according to Southwest Mississippi Community College (SMCC) and Mississippi Community College Board (MCCB) guidelines.
