The SMCC High School Honor Band audition etude will be available in mid-December.
Here you will find the all information you need to prepare for your audition.
To complete your audition for High school students:
Wind & Mallet Audition:
🎵 Record yourself performing the etude
🎵 Play the Concert Ab, Eb, Bb, F, C, & G scales
🎵 Perform the chromatic scale
🎵 Upload your audition video using the form linked above

Snare Audition:
🎵 Record yourself performing the etude
🎵 Perform the following rudiment patterns on alternating hands:
- Single-stroke 7
- 5-stroke roll
- Single Dragadiddle
- Single Drag Tap
To complete your audition for Middle school students:
