Position: Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach

Job Description: To assist the Head Coach with all phases of the Men's basketball program. These phases include, but not limited to recruiting, student-athlete development, scheduling, practice development, game preparation, video editing, scouting, eligibility, travel, laundry, purchasing and maintaining the equipment, and keeping the program within its budget. The Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach reports directly to the Men’s Head Basketball Coach

Position: Advising Specialist to the PBI Grant Administrator

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College has an opening for an Advising Specialist for the PBI Grant. The position will assist and support the delivery of SMCC’s Academic Advising efforts by providing training for academic coaches and developing and administering academic coaching procedures for the Student Academic Support Center. The position will also collaborate with the appropriate College departments and resources to help develop faculty and student support services. The successful candidate will be a team-oriented professional who is willing to learn and participate in a collaborative setting under the direction of the Title III PBI Grant Administrator and other administrators. This position reports to the Title III PBI Grant Administrator.

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College has an opening for a full-time physics instructor. The instructor is responsible for the coordination, planning, preparations, presentations, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. Position: Remote Learning Specialist to the PBI Grant Administrator

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College has an opening for a Remote Learning Specialist for the PBI Grant. The position will assist and support the delivery of SMCC’s online and continuing education efforts by providing training for faculty in the area of online teaching and developing and administering distance learning student services. The position will also collaborate with the appropriate College departments and resources to help develop faculty and student support services. This position reports to the Title III PBI Grant Administrator.

Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College has an opening for a full-time nursing instructor in a state and Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing accredited Associated Associate Degree Nursing program.
