Position: Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to perform all aspects of accounts payable according to the standard accounting practices and procedures adopted by the college. This is a full-time position and reports to the Vice President for Financial Affairs.
Position: Workforce Trainer/Coordinator
Job Description: Coordinate and teach training programs for local businesses, industries, and workforce, offering start up and upgrade training for the school according to Southwest Mississippi Community College (SMCC) and Accelerate MS (The Office of Workforce Development) guidelines. Reports directly to the Director of Regional Workforce Training Center.
Position: Assistant Athletic Trainer-Full-Time 11 Month Position
Job Description: This position is under general supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, evaluates physical condition and treats student athletes to maintain maximum physical fitness for participation in athletic competition. Evaluates, treats, and rehabilitates injuries, conditions, and related disabilities to maintain student athlete performance. Provide first aide for athletic injuries. The Assistant Athletic Trainer may design customized individual training programs.
Position: Landscape Technician
Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking an individual to perform landscaping and grounds maintenance operations for the college campus. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., but availability for emergencies is required. This is a full-time position and reports to the Director of Grounds.
Position: Food Service Worker
Job Description: Southwest Mississippi Community College is seeking individuals to work in our Food Service Department. Hours 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Full and part-time positions are available.
